So today Luke and I have been married 18 months. Sadly, it also coincides with the 1 year anniversary of the Christchurch earthquake. New Zealand is very much still recovering from this tragic disaster, which claimed 185 lives. However, it is also at this time that I reflect how much God has blessed us since we tied the knot a year and half ago. God has time and time again shown his faithfulness to us, through providing me with a good job, a place for us to live, a great church, friends and family. He blesses us so much, and I so often take it for granted, even forgetting to thank Him for the day-to-day things.
Things are kind of up in the air at the moment. Luke finished his thesis last week and is now looking for a job, which will dictate where we live, depending on where he finds one. It's nice to look back and remember how God cares for us and is sovereign over our whole lives, remembering that whatever comes our way, He will always be there for us.
